Douglas McIntyre, Managing Director

Douglas helps business owners and senior partners in professional firms to make smart decisions about their money, so that they can avoid costly mistakes, save tax, become financially well organised and work towards a prosperous retirement. He has worked in financial services since 1987. Prior to that he spent 10 years in the Merchant Navy as a navigating officer.

He is a qualified member of the Personal Finance Society and the Institute of Financial Planning, as well as holding the position of pension transfer specialist and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) licence.

Garry Donnelly, Director

Garry specialises in wealth management and asset protection - delivering peace of mind to private clients and their families. He also advises business owners and their employees on a range of employee benefit and corporate protection issues.

Having entered the Financial Services sector in 1989, Garry worked with both a national IFA firm and a major insurance company before joining us in an advisory capacity in 1995.

Garry holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate and is an Associate of both the Institute of Financial Planning and the Personal Finance Society. He holds the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner (CFP) licence and is a Chartered Financial Planner.

Becky Pittard, Director

Becky has been with us since January 1990, prior to which she worked for a large insurance company. She is one of our longest serving members of staff. Becky is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and has achieved all three levels of the Financial Planning Certificate. She is currently working towards further CII qualifications.

As well as providing support for Douglas McIntyre and his clients, Becky also manages the financial services administration and all IT requirements.

Alan Hardie, Director

Alan joined us in January 2006, having previously headed the financial services arm of another firm for seven years. He is building the company’s presence in the East of Scotland.

He specialises in advising owner managers on how to protect their business interests whilst make the most of their personal assets. Alan has been working in financial services throughout the region since 1990.

He holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate from the CII and also the lesser known certificate in Trustee Pension Advice awarded by the Pension Management Institute.
